What is it about money that drives people to the extreme? Is it the ability to be careless with your spending habits, or the financial freedom of never having to worry about another bill again? Money is the center of our lives, when it boils down to it, especially in terms of your business and entrepreneurship goals. There are a lot of people who aspire to be rich when they grow up, most people want to at least make enough money to pay for their cost of living and then have savings as well. But what about wealth is so attractive to us?
On the other side of things, wealth also creates a lot of tension and conflict in society, so why are we so driven towards it? Whether you believe that money is the root of evil or not, chances are you are working a job to make money and pay for your living arrangements, transportation, food, and any other items you want or need. Isn't it always in the back of any entrepreneur's mind that money is the main goal? In some cases, yes but in many others, the money mindset becomes a way of life. Attracting wealth into your life does not mean you will become wealthy, and it certainly does not mean that you will become the evil villain with all of the money (and power!).
What happens when you have wealth?
So let’s say that you’re an entrepreneur whose business has taken off and stabilized to a point where you have a steady income that is exceeding your costs to operate and expenses to live. Is that the definition of wealth? Honestly, people have varying ideas of what wealth is defined as depending on their specific goals in life. For the average person, wealth can simply mean making enough money to support and provide for your family, but for someone who has an entrepreneur mindset (like you), wealth can mean so much more.
You have already moved past the hardest part, which is starting your business Endeavor as an entrepreneur, so now what? Your lifestyle has likely changed to compliment the things you take on in your business. Part of being a successful entrepreneur is being able to recognize what you’re doing on a daily basis to work towards your goal and improve upon those processes each day. One of the most important things you can do to attract the outcome that you want is to manifest that into your life. It really is true that you will attract what you put out into the world. You can look at how people have acquired wealth in the past and compare your story to theirs, opening your mind up to different possibilities and processes that can get you to where you want to be. If you start practicing these things and implementing them into your life, you’ll see the flow of wealth come in many ways.
What’s the difference between money mindset and getting rich?
Before you can attract wealth into your life, you need to understand what the money mindset is and how it can help you get the most out of your business. Having a mindset centered around attracting wealth into your life can be the most beneficial factor in getting what you want. You have to be in it for the right reasons, meaning your intentions have to be for the “greater good”. What is the big picture of your business? What is your main goal and who are you trying to reach? What do you personally want to get out of this experience? All of these questions are going to be the bare-bones when establishing your money mindset.
A money mindset is not something that should be driven by money itself. Yes, that might seem counterintuitive since the main goal of attracting wealth is to have money but bear with us. Deciding what your business stands for at its core will be the first step in establishing how you will think about your successes and finances combined. Getting rich is easy for some people, for various reasons. But these people are often the mirror image of what we associate as the root of evil when it comes to money. Their intentions are usually malicious and they are only looking for power. It is completely understandable to want to have an impact in your market, but to strive for power alone is a dangerous game and will likely result in an unhealthy mindset.
The Root Of The Money Mindset
There is definitely a fine line between a healthy mindset that attracts wealth and one that is solely concerned with money. If you think about it, most successful (and rich) people didn’t set out to become millionaires or even billionaires. Most wealthy people began their careers with a dream to solve a problem. And they almost always have someone they can name as their biggest influence. The people you surround yourself with have a greater influence on you than you may realize. You might even find that pop culture like movies and music play a huge role in how you view yourself and how you fit into the world.
One of the greatest things about today’s society is that there are so many people out there who are willing to share their stories with the world in order to make it easier for you to embark on your own. Keep in mind that for every downfall you have, there will always be an opportunity for growth. Surround yourself with people who are like-minded and willing to provide positive influences to you. The easiest way to attract what you want is to dive right into it. It will always take time, but you are capable of shifting away from that stigma that money is the root of all evil. You are not a villain for wanting to be successful and wealthy. You will not attract negativity if you are working towards your goal of wealth for the right reasons.
