6 Hacks That Can Help Even The Busiest Person Manage Work / Life Balance

As a female entrepreneur, you probably get a lot of conflicting information about how you “should” act. Is it OK to be assertive? Or will that make people not like you? Is it OK to be kind, or does that mean people will take advantage of you?

Do your days seem to be bleeding into one another? Are you always tired and constantly running on empty?

It might be time to take a hard look at how you are managing the hours in your day and if your work / life balance is healthy.

According to Better Up, “Several statistics show that more than 60 percent of U.S. employees feel like their work-life balance is out of whack.”

Don’t rev your engine so much that it burns out. Use these tools ⤵ to keep everything running as smoothly as possible.

All About Time

Sometimes a little structure is all you need. Time blocks are essential in maintaining a solid schedule. Use the hours in the day to your advantage.

Create time blocks in your work schedule for different tasks

Block off time for breaks and lunch

Create time blocks for necessary home to-do’s

Block off time for decompression and relaxation

… and don’t forget to cut it off!

Stick to your time blocks as best as you can. This ensures less stress, overwhelm, and proper time for self-care.

Did you know that, according to Zippia, “While the U.S. federal government doesn’t require companies to provide paid vacation to employees, they typically offer between 5 and 15 days of PTO per year. Yet 55% of employees don’t use all of their PTO.”

That’s over half the population that doesn’t use vacation time!

Take. Time. Off.

Go on that trip, enjoy a stay-cay, heck — pull your kids out of school for a day and go for a bike ride and some ice cream.

Just make sure you are living a little in all the craziness of life.

Take Care of Your Overall Health.
